- Place the tips in a bucket and cover them with boiling water.
- Leave this to stand overnight, then boil and simmer gently for a quarter of an hour.
- Strain onto the sugar, and allow to cool
- Add the yeast when it has cooled
- Keep closely covered in a warm place for 10 days
- Pour into fermentation jar and fit an airlock leave until wine clears.
- Siphon off and bottle.
